When buying the device from their local Walmart, this user says it rang up at $19.88, an impressively low price for what is effectively a replacement for the $50 Chromecast with Google TV (4K).<\/p>\n

Beyond the price, this latest post also reveals a few more details about the streaming stick including a deep dive into codecs and supported output. Walmart\u2019s new device has Dolby Atmos, but there\u2019s no Dolby Vision HDR. The 4K upgrade does bring HDR support in some apps, like YouTube and Kodi, but it\u2019s not going to be on the same level as devices such as the Google TV Streamer.<\/p>\n

The device is shown to be running Android TV 14, with an update hitting out of the box.<\/p>\n
