Galaxy Z Flip 8 is apparently also getting a price hike to a\u20ac1,299 starting price, up \u20ac100.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s how the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series pricing breaks down, at least in Germany, according to the data the report.<\/p>\n

To reiterate, the \u201cGalaxy Z Fold 8\u201d here is the new wider form factor Samsung has started officially teasing, something that\u2019s brand new to the lineup. And it\u2019s the same price as last year (following the early 2026 price hike). Meanwhile, the \u201cGalaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra\u201d is effectively unchanged from the Fold 7, and it\u2019s getting a lot more expensive.<\/p>\n

Looking at the bigger picture there are some partial explanations here. The \u201cUltra\u201d does physically have more hardware, with a third camera that the wider model completely lacks, as well as a bigger battery. But it\u2019s still a hard pill to swallow given the wider device is, again, completely new to Samsung\u2019s lineup where the \u201cUltra\u201d is essentially a tiny refresh to last year\u2019s model.<\/p>\n

But then again, what isn\u2019t getting price hikes now? On that note, the report also pins down Galaxy Watch 9 and Ultra 2 pricing, which are going up by around 10%.<\/p>\n
