SammyGuru has posted a set of short videos obtained from Samsung. The clips were seemingly developed as how-to guides, so animations depicting some of the actions the Galaxy Glasses can undertake. The model seen comes from Warby Parker, though a lot of the core mechanics will likely remain the same for other hardware. Google and Samsung plan to work with Gentle Monster, as well.<\/p>\n

The Warby Parker Galaxy Glasses resemble the Meta Ray-Ban glasses in design and control scheme. They look slightly glossy with a more generic wayfarer lens shape. Meta\u2019s display version has quite a bit of bulk, but these glasses from Samsung seem a lot slimmer by comparison.<\/p>\n

That probably comes from the lack of waveguide display, which would have been nice to see. We know later Android XR devices will bring an in-lens display, which might test manufacturing limits on weight and bulk.<\/p>\n

Beyond design and profile, the glasses have a touchpad sensor on the right arm near the temple. The leaked videos animate volume and media control with a swipe with one or two fingers, much like Meta\u2019s version.<\/p>\n

A shutter button on the top of the right arm controls the camera at the front. A single press takes a picture, and video recording begins by holding it down. An LED will light up when this happens to warn others around you that they\u2019re being captured. An internal-facing LED lights up to let the user know, as well.<\/p>\n

The Galaxy Glasses will work well with any Android device by design, but Samsung\u2019s Galaxy lineup will inevitably provide the best experience. Some of the video obtained shows Now Bar integration, where captured images and videos appear on the paired Galaxy phone.<\/p>\n

Previous leaks come from the Galaxy Glasses companion app and the sizeable charging case, which sheds light on One UI XR (Android XR for Galaxy Glasses). That\u2019s where we saw some of our first images of the glasses, but these new videos give a full view of the frames.<\/p>\n
