We remain deeply committed to our smart home ecosystem and to the millions of people who use our products every day. Existing Nest Mini and Nest Audio devices will continue to be fully supported with regular software updates, security patches, and customer care.<\/p>\n

While support remains \u2013 Google is still actively supporting even its first-gen Google Home speaker launched in 2016 \u2013 hardware will dry up. And with the discontinuation of the Nest Mini, Google\u2019s ecosystem is left without a cheaper entry point.<\/p>\n

The Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max also remain actively for sale, though there has been some evidence of a new \u201cGoogle Home Display\u201d in the works.<\/p>\n

The Google Home Speaker is now available for pre-order and shipping next week.<\/p>\n
