Starlink\u2019s website only lists a way to pay monthly, with no option to buy hardware outright and use for a standard subscription. That plan, again, starts at $100\/month. The website notes this option is available in \u201cselect markets\u201d as a flexible option for users.<\/p>\n

The option to purchase a Starlink Mini satellite is still available, starting at $199 for the hardware followed by a $55 monthly payment price for Roam 100GB or $80\/month for Roam 300GB. This option is the go-to for users looking to use Starlink hardware on the move, as opposed to at their home or fixed location.<\/p>\n

At the time of writing, Starlink\u2019s latest satellite model for Residential use can be purchased from retailers like Walmart for a fixed price. Once hardware is bought separately, a monthly plan can be set up, negating the need to rent hardware from the company.<\/p>\n
