However, given WhatsApp\u2019s famously slow-paced rollouts (even for features announced officially), it is possible that not all users will get access at once.<\/p>\n

WABetaInfo notes that since \u201cWhatsApp has not announced an official timeline for a wider release, the feature should reach more users over the coming weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n

WhatsApp chat lists feature includes both default filters (such as Favorites, Unread, Groups, and Communities), as well as custom lists that let users group specific chats together based on their own preferences.<\/p>\n

Until now, all of these lists appeared in a horizontal row at the top of the Chats tab, which could quickly become cluttered for users with too many custom lists. With the new interface, users can choose which lists remain visible up there, and which should be moved into the secondary Filter menu.<\/p>\n

The update also includes a new default list: Drafts. As the name implies, it contains all the chats where the user started composing a message, but left the chat without clearing the input field or sending the message.<\/p>\n
