Though we\u2019re unlikely to actually see new multitasking features at WWDC, iOS 27 is expected to add a variety of changes custom-built for this fall\u2019s iPhone Fold.<\/p>\n

Apple Inc.\u2019s forthcoming foldable iPhone will include updates to the iOS operating system that enable iPad-like layouts and side-by-side apps for the first time, enhancing the device\u2019s appeal for multitasking.<\/p>\n

iOS 27 will launch publicly this September, shortly after the Apple event where the iPhone Fold is expected to be unveiled. So while some hints of foldable-related changes might appear at WWDC, don\u2019t expect to see Apple\u2019s full plans for iOS 27 until that fall event.<\/p>\n
