But you can get that in the existing Moto Tag too, so why buy the sequel?
Outside of that nice new orange color, Moto Tag 2 boasts much better battery life, with Motorola touting “over 600 days on a single battery” using a standard CR2032 cell.
Motorola has quietly opened sales of Moto Tag 2 in select regions in recent weeks, with the tracker selling for £29.99 in the UK and €40 in Germany.
In the US, Motorola hasn’t officially opened up its sales channels, but there are third-party sellers on Amazon offering Moto Tag 2 for $119.99 for a 4-pack, which is retail pricing. Some early buyers took the plunge and reported back that these are authentic products, and we’re not seeing any red flags on these third-party sellers either – they’re all fulfilled by Amazon anyway.
There’s currently no way to buy a 1-pack Moto Tag in the US, but the 4-pack comes out to around $29 per tracker.
